A question for the bipolars out there

Hi All,

I'm bipolar and I was wondering if you ever feel like me? Most of the time when I go out by myself I feel paranoid or insecure about myself like people think I'm stupid or something. I do get the usual ups and downs that occur with being bipolar but recently these paranoid thoughts are occuring more often. I'm not sure if it's because of the antidepressent I take at night to help me sleep or what? I don't think so, because I've always felt like this. What can I do? Any ideas and/or tips on how to deal with my paranoia? I can't go back and see my doctor because they don't really understand :(

  1. I get a lot of Anxiety which I think goes hand in hand with Bipolar and can be made worse by meds. The only way I can cope with it is by facing it head on, like when I had a fear of cooking I made myself learn and now I'm good at it.

  2. my doctor told me im this im that but i meditated on my own.

talked to myself, yes its weird, and im starting to cope with it.

that prescribed me medication but see i dont need it cause i can figure everything out on my own F** the doctors and

do everything you can . literally.

  3. go out with a trusted friend?

did you ever smoke weed?  that has a lot to answer for when it comes to paranoia....

    :)

  4. You'd be surprised at how many doctors do understand ... and they tell you to take medication, which helps rebalance the chemical and physical imbalances in your brain that contribute to your disorder. Listen to them.

How do I know? I have friends who have had disorders similar to this, they did everything they were told by their doctors, and can now reduce their medication, and gradually go off it.

  5. what med is it metazapine cos that made me feel like that

  6. seek another doctor
