  1. Sure. the question is an open-ended question that did not say that your experience needs to be a positive experience. so long as it had helped define you as a person.

  2. Yes, of course. It's an open-minded question. As long as you can elaborate it, I don't see any problem with that. Good luck on the ACET! Expect another essay like this on the exam itself.

  3. Yes, this may be a different scenario but I guess it falls into the same thing. When you are in an interview for a job, it is not always bad to throw in your negative experiences and weaknesses. What is important is that you are able to show them what you did to overcome such weakness and what lessons have you learned that made you a better person.

  4. The world is not made of compliments dude.

Needless to say, hardships are inevitable.

In your case a a youngster (like me somehow),

Misery is everything you've got (majority).

    You can't say you've achieved a lot,

because the truth of the matter is,

you're still in the so-called "making" process.

    So then,

go ahead and answer that essay all out.

    be proud of your misfortunes,

    because they made you stronger,

and will someday make you a real man.

    Good Luck on you. ;-)
