Does your bipolar seem to play up more when you've got bad PMS/PMT? I am having a terrible time right now w/ both. I can't seem to quit worrying about little things that shouldn't even bother me at all. I am moody, irritable, hungry, anxious (terribly anxious) worrying about things and I'm worrying about my b/friend even though he won't leave me he's just being in a mood himself. I am 30 and was diagnosed at 17. My hormones are all up and down and I've got a few pimples n my chin :( Your advice needed please?

I am at work and I don't want to go home and be alone. I can't function properly either today.

  1. I was the exact same, i have Bipolar at it always effected me differently depending where i am on my cycle.

I got irritable, paranoid and anxious at the smallest things and sometimes i couldn't leave the house.

You're feeling like this because your hormones are changing which effects the chemicals in your brain. This doesn't help when you have a chemical disorder already!! I think it would be best for you to exercise during the pms and try out herbal methods such as green tea.

You also might want to talk to your doctor too, he may suggest Birth Control in order to make your cycle more regular.
