A question not for the weak-stomached?

I'm in love. It's not usual though. I'm in love with....my cousin. The thing is that we aren't blood cousins. He is my stepmother's nephew. He's in love with me also. I know that it's not ethical, but our family isn't against us being in love. We can't help it. What is your opinion on our relationship?

Become a Muslim, incest is encouraged in Islamic faith. Besides it does not seem like you are blood related.

I don't understand why you are making such a big deal about this and calling it unethical.  He is not your cousin in any meaningful sense and his being your stepmother's nephew does not make loving him a taboo.

I have a high school aquaintance who had a relationship (as sexual relationship....) with his BLOOD cousin for like a year..

I admit I was sort of weirded out by it, but yeah....

Their parents were ok with it.. and I was one of the few to know that they were actually related haha...

So I mean..

really you're just looking for approval...

And the only approval that really would matter to you is honestly your family (his parents and yours) (as well as approval from yourself, etc etc etc)..
