A question on English Language Arts?-anyone with English Language Arts experience-not little kids plz---?

Ok so I'm 13 years old I'm practicing for the SHSAT in New York

Okay... so there are two questions in by Practice book that I think that they are wrong in plz... prove me wrong so I can correct myself and explain why they said what the did....

Ok they are scrambled paragraph questions where you have a topic and u have 5 detail sentences that you have to put in order

Ok...

Topic Sentence-

The climate of major cities are often markedly different from the climate of surrounding rural areas.

Ok so here are the questions you have to unscramble.....

Q- However, the geographicdifferences do not have to be dramatic to effect climate differences

R- Other climate changes are brought about by the construction of artificial structures and surfaces.

S- Even between the center of a city and its suburbs, there are often differences in air temperature, humidity, wind speed, and direction.

T- Many of these difference are caused by high concentrations of pollutants over urban areas.

U- For example, tall buildings, paved streets, and parking lots affectsuch patterns as wind flow and precipitation runoff.

My Answer- STRQU

Their answer- QSTRU

Thank you in advance just tell me what I did wrong...

    Let's look at your answer, the part RQU.

    R mentions "the construction of artificial structures and surfaces".

    U mentions "tall buildings, paved streets, and parking lots".

    You can see that U gives examples for R, while Q is not related to U. The geographic difference means the difference in locations, which are major cities and rural areas.

    So, you can see that Q should be not between R and U.
