  1. That is a normal curve for a silicon diode. It has a reverse breakdown of 40 volts, and therefore it should not be used in any application where it could see 35 volts. In the forward direction, it has a VF of 0.9 volts at 100mA, higher than most diodes.

    Looking at the numbers, this is a low power or signal type silicon diode.
