A question on blushing....?

How do u know when u are blushing. 2day I was walking down the hallway in school and me and my crush locked eyes for 2-3 seconds and when this happened my cheeks felt a weird tingling feeling and it began to get a little (just a little) hot on my cheeks. Is that tingling feeling a blush that was coming up or that was shown? Basically, what happens when u blush? All answers would be very appreciated, tx.

Oh yeah, this question is totally worth starring!!  ; )

And when you blush, blood rushes to your face and cheeks due to embarrassment.  Your face usually feels hot at the time and, in some people, the redness may take a while to go down.

It hasn't really happened to me but from what i gather from friends is that its a tingling sensation in your cheeks when you are embarrassed.
