do all little speakers that you buy have drivers on them, such as the pc speakers, and car audio speakers?

How can i tell if it has a driver on the back of the speaker(it looks like a magnetic so i cant tell the difference?)

Cause i bought some pc speakers and they 5w and i dont think a driver is on the back, all i see is a magnetic

  1. If they are "powered" cpu speakers usualy get a boost from the subwoofer they are plugged into if they simply plug into the back of your cpu then they probly are not powered

  2. yes thats it

  3. All speakers have some kind of driver on them ,unless you don't count some  tweeters but even a piezo has a cystal which makes the sound. Are you talking about power ,what makes a speaker loud.there are some PC speakers that are powered so they do not need a amp.Other PC speaker need a seperate amp to work.
