Could someone please pinpoint the exact difference between the James-Lange theory and the James-Lange-Schachter theory,and emphasize on the role of the cortex(instead of the hypothalamus and the amygdala) on emotional experiences?
[I am not quite sure, but I have noticed that, sometimes, symptoms I have that can be attributed to hunger or fatigue(which I certainly feel, at that time)seem to somehow translate to fearful thoughts in my brain, leading me to the conclusion that those symptoms seem to be the cause rather than the effect of those emotions of fear at that time]
