  1. The average age should be no longer than 3 months of age. However; just like pregnancy; no baby is the same. So your little one may gain neck strength sooner or later than the average time frame.

Things to consider to increase neck strength:

When you are burping; lay her on your lap ( belly down) and pat on the back to burp. Its kind of hard to explain but the best way I could tell you to place her is have her legs slope down your thigh. Does that make sense.

Since they are still little I don't encourage play mats. They would not be able to see things clearly enough to get the full idea of a toy placed on the mat, etc. Just lay her on her tummy once a day and you should be fine.

If she favors one side ( meaning she looks like she has a crick in her neck or head is tilted to one side.) When she sleeps lay her on the side that she leans towards. Sometimes one side gets stronger before the other and causes this. Its nothing to worry about and they do grow out of it.

I hope I answered this the way that you were needing and didn't meant to make it complicated.

I wish you the best of luck with the little one!!
