Question:

A question regarding getting the Passport of World Service Authority?

I want to get an American nationality by getting my temporary VISA or Green Card VISA by regular lottery. I have heard about the [World Government of World Citizens or World Service Authority: www.worldservice.org] which grants citizens its passport. If I will get the WSA's passport, will that affect my request of getting the American VISA in the future? I mean, are there any political, lawful, and constitutional conditions in the USA or other countries that reject getting their VISA if you have a prior passport of WSA?

  1. I think you'd just be throwing your money away. The background on WSA:

"Another solution is to invent your own passport, the trick pulled by Garry Davis, a US World War II vet.

On May 18, 1948, Davis renounced his citizenship in Paris to become a “World Citizen.” He did some traveling due to his instant celebrity, but also ran into extreme difficulties.

France finally got so sick of him it gave him “Stateless Person” documents just to get rid of him. He “emigrated” to the US and still resides here, apparently as an “alien,” after a court battle.

Davis founded the “World Service Authority” (WSA) and in 1954 issued the first WSA passport to himself. WSA passports are very official-looking and are now available to anyone willing to buy one.

Davis claims that he and others have used the passports to enter more than 150 countries—including the US—though this reflects apathetic customs officials and good luck more than official recognition. Davis has been arrested more than a dozen times for his border crossings.

However, six countries have officially recognized, in writing, the WSA passports as valid: Burkina Faso, Ecuador, Mauritania, Tanzania, Togo and Zambia."

  2. You are buying a novelty item if you buy one of those passports.  They might as well be sold in the Sky Mall magazines next to the Lord of the Rings replica swords.

They have no bearing what so ever on your application to the United States.

  3. It is a passport which is not recognized by the U.S. government as a document to obtain legal entry into the U.S. You don't have to believe me. You can check with the nearest U.S. embassy or consulate.
