A question regarding jail or prison.

i have seen a couple of "movements" with people wantin to release a person from jail early. they have movements sayin "free (who ever it is)". is it possible for that to work? i thought it worked with pimp c. but i dont know for sure if that why he was released early. help.

  1. If a jailer or warden were to release someone contrary to law, that jailer could then be guilty of a crime.  Sometimes a parole board will consider public opinion and public support in deciding whether to grant parole, but it still must be within the bounds of the law.


  2. when people have those movements its mainly to show the person in prison that they have support. and sometimes those movements can affect the reason for why they would be released. im not sure completely but im sure it could happen. but it wont happen all the time. look at stanley "tookie" williams. he was still put to death.
