  1. "It even explains the human need for god."

    i'll stick with atheism.

  2. All religions answer "all the questions".  They always have.  That's kind of the problem with them.

  3. "I am asking this, because Pandeism answers all the questions..."

I'm sorry, but nothing "answers all the questions"...   All supernatural or spiritual explanations do is introduce more questions.

If you say "god created the earth" or "the earth is god", it doesn't answer anything.  It just creates another layer of abstraction.  Then who created god?  And why did god create the earth or me?  Then people have to make up more stuff.  Eventually they make up so much stuff they have to write it on scrolls.  Eventually they make up so many scrolls they have to combine them into books.  All these "answers" need even more explanation.  When none of that is necessary if you're simply willing to admit, "I don't know."

Everybody wants answers.  But some people are impatient or want to exploit other peoples' ignorance, so they make stuff up in the meantime.  That's why so many people are into God.  Not because it makes sense, but because they've been raised that way and there are biological reasons for why people believe in irrational things if they're taught such things before the age of reason.

  4. Pandeism? You mean like pandas are gods? Or Pan the horned one created the world and then walked off, never to be seen again? Or maybe pantheism, everything is god?

  5. I only heard of Pandemonium up to now. Is Pandeism something similar?

  6. If it makes a lot of sense, why not write a paper on the subject and submit it to one of the scientific journals. You might become famous.

  7. no, but i totally get Determinism.

  8. I won't equate scientific fact with any kind of "eism"..except the lack of it....atheism.

    But thnk you for asking.

  9. Yeah I've heard of it.  But I still see no evidence for anything supernatural.

  10. I've not heard of Pandeism but I've heard of Pantheism.

    What's Pandeism?

  11. The human need for a god is rooted in the need to answer questions of uncertainty and the need to belong.

When we belong to a group, we feel safe and secure. When people around us are different, we feel confused and insecure, threatened even. That's called xenophobia.

Pandeism, like any kind of deity inspired belief system, relies upon mythical ideas and fantasy. It answers no questions but only creates more of the same.

  12. Heard of Pantheism but not Pandeism. Do you perhaps have a link for us, please?
