Question:

A question to Sikhs about going to Gurdwara?

I am 17 and now that I can drive I would like to start going to Gurdwara. I am by no means a strict Sikh, I don't speak Punjabi, and I really wish I knew more about Sikhism...

Anyway, my girlfriend wants to come with me when I go to pray. She is Hindu, but like me is not strict and is even less religious than I am. Obviously we will behave properly and will probably sit on opposite sides of the room. Is it alright to go with her, considering that we are not married or anything? Unfortunately I have no sources to learn about Sikhism and just don't want to do anything wrong while I'm there...

  2. I am not Hindu, but in my opinion, if your at least wanting to pray and be with like kind that has to give u some kudu points,  could be in worse places wanting to do worse things. U and your girlfriend are finding your way-attempting anyway. Keep striving together and good work!
