A quick 18 with Caroline Masson
Recently, LET fans caught Caroline Masson in the LET most famous segment, quick 18. She is an upcoming golfer, who has gathered quite a large fan following. This interview was a chance for Caroline Masson to show off her lighter side.
In response to the question about what she would take on an island, she responded that she would be content with her phone, water and would like her family to accompany her.
When asked about her pet peeve, she said that packing is something she absolutely hates. This was a rather unusual response from someone who spends considerable time travelling around the world.
Similarly, she shared that another thing she deplores is washing the dishes. She had a rather interesting view on the subject, stating that doing dishes is boring and pointless, as they get dirty again in no time.
Caroline Masson claims that her greatest talent is making people laugh. That is in keeping with her happy persona that she has cultivated both on and off the golf course.  She chose to describe herself as “relaxed”, her most prominent quality.
Caroline Masson was very sure of what she would do if given a chance to start her life afresh. She would be a pro golfer. This, according to her, is the best job in the world. The answer highlighted and reinforced her passion for golf.
Golf is something that is central to everything in Masson’s life. She plans to play on the LPGA circuit in the coming five years. This will be a major milestone in her career.
However, Masson is not a total golf junkie. She, occasionally, takes a break from golf, an essential thing to do in order to avoid a burnout.
When asked what she likes to do on her off day, she said that she enjoys relaxing on the beach and then having dinner with family and friends.
Caroline Masson had a bright amateur career. She started playing golf at the age of six and became a well known amateur.
She won a golf scholarship to Oklahoma State University. She played on the University’s team for about a year and then went pro in 2009.
Her pro career is awash with remarkable performances consistently. In 2010, she played in 16 tournaments. She made the cut in 14. She finished the year with four top-10 finishes. Her best performance was in Open de France Feminin, where she stood third with
a score of 276.
In 2011, she stood second in Lalla Meryem Cup, her best standing in the year.
This was not all. She was ranked fourth in the prestigious UniCredit Ladies German Open. With this record, Caroline Masson is expected to be a superstar in the coming years.
