Well, you kinda have to look at it to make sure you eventually come away with a clean piece.  This tells you that you've wiped all the doo doo off your butt crack.

HOWEVER!

If you want to make your life easier and fresher, buy those flushable adult wet wipes by Charmin.  I never buy dry toilet paper anymore.

Always do, need to check each time until the final piece is clean. Lets face it who wants skid marks on their pants??? On a more serious note it is important everyone does to ensure they are not passing blood that could be the sign of a serious disease.
