Question:

A quiet cafe in London, around Piccadilly?

Hi

I am looking for a (relatively) quiet cafe in central London where I can sit down at a table with a cup of tea and my laptop or a book.

Wifi is nice, but definitely not a must. I would rather just have a nice place. Even a Caffe Nero or Starbucks is OK, but they seem to be so overcrowded!

Ideally it would be located not too far from Piccadilly Circus and be open to at least 9pm.

I was a regular in the New Piccadilly Cafe, but have been looking for a replacement ever since it closed.

Any suggestions are highly appreciated!

  1. While not officially a "cafe", 5th View which is upstairs in Waterstones on Piccadilly, is a relaxed place for a cuppa, and they have free wifi, and great views too!
