My English teacher gave us a quote and told us to write a Graduation essay about it (as if you were valedictorian giving a speech). The quote was something (more or less a paraphrase):

"Do not be afraid to go out on a limb, for at the end there is the fruit" - (A girls first name, last name Mines)

Help? Who wrote the quote? What IS the quote?

  1. I am not sure if when you ask "what IS the quote" if you are asking for meaning but here is my take

ever hear of "no Guts no Glory"?

basically if you are not afraid to take a risk (going out on a limb would be risky because you could fall or it could break) you will never reach the fruit (the sustenance or thing you want, the goal as it were)

  2. Couldn't find her name.  If you mean by "what is the quote", what does it mean, then it is basically saying that you should strive for your goals, because there IS a reward.
