  1. I believe that there are studies showing certain heritages having connections to all sort of traits

  2. To some degree there are differences. That's what makes the world unique.

Most races have talents that others don't share. I believe the reason is because when a race finds something they are good at, they expand on that and perfect it. Some people say that African American's are good with sports that involve running, physical contact, and endurance. With these traits in mind, we tend to work on these and put pressure on ourselves to excel at them.

I use African Americans b/c I am African American. I have no clue as to what others have as far as true talent b/c like other people, I can only go by what I've seen or heard about.

I do know this, I am NOT athletic by any stretch. I find music, literature, and the internet more stimulating than athletics. I suppose it's the individuals preference as to what talents they have and cultivate.

But doesn't that make the world more interesting? I think so.

  3. i dont beleive there is any difference.  i dont think anyone person can be classified by their race.  because eventually there will be at least one person to break the stereotype.   there arnt any specail talants, just people do things different ways, it all has to do with perspective.

A person white woman in the city might see it fit to plant her garden with a small shovel, while an african in the middle of the jungle in his small village might find a stick or rock more helpful.  that is what they need in their specific place and time.  there is no superiority, because we all have solutions, some just seem less effective than others.  but it is all perspective.

  4. Yeah...not in a racial way before everyone starts jumping on me lol. I believe that due to our blood lines etc. that each race has its strengths and weaknesses. Have you ever noticed we all have very diverse bone structure.....etc? Some races even have better metabolism, thier born with it. EX: Asian's due to all the light foods they ate way back in the day. It became part of thier entire body structure, and you still see it in Asians who eat fatty foods etc. I'm not going to pinpoint what races apply to what talents tho because it'll definantly start a huge arguement.

  5. First of all, I believe that despite the colour of our skin and language spoken, we are all one race of people....the human race. We are human beings, male and female, and that is that, and there should be no problems with who is friends with, marries, hangs out with, etc. because of all that.

Now, that being said....I believe that as humans we have developed certain talents based on where we live.  For example, certain races of people developed differenct physically in order to accomadate to their environment (such as the arctic) than other races of people (perhaps a more arid, sandy area). Certan traits would eventually be formed or lost based on use or lack of use due to environment, culture, religion and even overthrowing nations. So, yes, I do believe that there are races out there (who are parts of the human race) that may have developed talents, due to environmental and/or other factors, that may be a talent not shared by another race.  That said, it does not mean one race is superior, it just means that one race has developed one way and another developed another....each way is viable in it's own way and for it's own reason.

  6. I think that the way that society works, different groups and units of people have different talents and abilities, along with different values. This is because different people have different influences that affect their belief systems, along with what they concentrate on. Whether these units are divided into race or simply by family depends on the one judging them.

  7. I imagine there may be.  But whatever the differences are they're much smaller than the variaion from individual to individual.

  8. Weather it has to do with race, or just where the family originated from Yes there is a difference

  9. No difference - good & bad in all races, creeds, gender.

  10. there are huge differnces between races.

its proven that blacks have better sporting ability.

    islanders are more agile.

    whites are unco. hehe

i guess it has to do with the thousands of years of living in a certain environment.

  11. perhaps

  12. Of course there is a difference between races in general.  However you should not clump every person from a particular race into that races stereotype.

  13. I feel that aside from skin color, tone of voice and language there are still sometimes differences between races. I don't know if I would say "talents" but there are "traits" that some times a majority of a race may posses. I'm not saying everyone in a given race and I am not stereotyping I am just saying that I have at times noticed some similar traits between members of a specific race...and I'm not saying this in a racist way.  For instance some races/cultures do exhibit some traits such as naturally being better/faster runners or some produce a higher number of youth that test well. I'm sorry, David, I think this is a great question and I wish I could be more specific but sometimes people on here are quick to get angry or quick to jump to the conclusion that certain answers are racist even though they may not really be.

  14. yes, there is a difference between races.

  15. Sorry friend, but your question cant be answered because there is no such thing as "Race"

    Its just a social construction.

there is only one type of "Race" and that is the human race ... for the technical term google it!

  16. who cares were all only human and that is the only thing that matters....!

  17. not really why?

  18. Some ethnic backgrounds are better at some things than others.  For example, ethnically African runners often have biologically longer large muscle groups that enable them to excel as professional, competitive runners.

  19. There is most certainly no difference biologically.  Race is a social construction and the only thing that differs one race from another is racism which then makes people of certain races think that the stereotypes about themselves are true and they then grow up to think that way and act that way because of the way they perceive themselves.  This even sometimes passes down from generation to generation.  But the true answer to your question is no.

  20. Good question son. Negroes are well renowned for their ability and skill, to complain.

  21. I do believe there is a difference. For instance african americans are more physically adept to sport in most cases. Asians are more adept at fast things like karate and judo. Whites are suited to racecar driving. It's just the way it is. We are all different whether we like it or not. Mentally i think we are virtually the same.

  22. People are people regardless of their race. You will find certain talents and abilities in all races and the same lack of talent and ability among them.

  23. of course, if your white you are taught proper english, if not anything goes, spanglish, slang, ghetto

  24. It's not just between races.  Black Africans Olympians on the East Coast of Africa have different running skills then the ones one the West Coast of Africa.  Sprinting versus endurance.

  25. I don't believe so, because when you think about it there is no one person on the planet who is strictly one race; we all have a drop of something else mixed in us.

  26. Every race has developed differently, in different parts of the world, different climates.  Some are more adapted to some things than others.  To be honest, though, I think any differences there might be are minor.

  27. I don't know really. It's a question of nature vs. nurture. I reckon at least some races have different physical strenghts relating to heights and etc......

  28. There are other differences so no I don't believe that.

  29. No I don't think there is, were all the same just different shades and talk a bit different were all human though. I mean sure about half the time a Latino will probably tango better than an African American but hey i may do ballet and sing foreign better than the next Caucasian so who knows! I love all colors!
