Question:

A rail marked up my board!?

I was riding a rail and when i unbuckled i noticed a big black line down the bottom. its not deep or a scratch. Does anybody have any ideas how to get rid of it?

  1. I have rossi sprayer skis that have white bases.... the bottoms are almost completely discolored underfoot from the cheap rails at my local mountain.  After skiing on them all season the stains are still there, but i think this is because of my base material, not the rail paint.  most railstains wipe clean after a few days of skiing or riding


  2. It will come off with riding.  It;s just paint that they use to keep the rails from rusting and to make them slicker.  If you want to get it off sooner, a Scotchbrite pad and water should take it off.  You will need to rewax the board afterward.
