A ranting poem for the sake of ranting a rant?

The first quad theatre in Newark,

Was The Branford.

Yet I dreamed of El Segundo

More than Fred Sanford.

I never put faith in luck,

But back then I could see movies all day,

For only a buck.

Afterwards we went to Burger King.

I'd get a Whopper, no pickles, coke,

And onion rings.

How I loved the tomato and lettuce,

And how they always said,

"Special orders don't upset us".

Back then, the man was Bruce Lee.

I can't tell you how much he inspired me.

More than anyone except Christ!

I believe in God,

Yet my tiger's claw is also nice.

I guess this wasn't really a rant.

Just a walk through the memories

That used to seem so distant.
