Question:

A reason for transferring schools?

I moved to Canada a year ago and I was miserable in my new school. I just did not like the teachers or fit in very well at all. There's another school but it only goes up to 10th grade and then I will have to transfer back it's also further away. A friend of mine went there and just recently transfered back to my current school. She said the other one was a lot better- cleaner, nicer, smaller. It's already really late in the year considering school starts for me on Sep.2 but they said they might accept me if they had room. But I'm stuck on the reason to transfer. What should I say? =( Thanks to anyone with any ideas and has anyone ever gone through this?

  1. Just tell the truth. Say that you are not really comfortable there at all.

or that you believe you could do better achademically at their school

  2. Find a subject that you like is not offered in the new school and is not offered at your school. That usually is sufficient for a transferr.
