Not the worst, but they're bad. I would say the worst are the Europeans that pretend to not understand English, although they really know what everyone is saying.  

However I was hiking in Colorado last summer and I ran into these British tourists on the trail. They called backpacks knapsacks and a bunch of other weird words...I can't remember. I was like wtf?? Stupid dialects

Yes there are a lot of Brits who go on holiday just to get drunk and shag around. And the fact that some Brits expect everyone abroad to speak English is just embarrassing. It could be worse though, at least we're not Americans.

Americans are by far the worst.

The only British tourists who behave badly are the 18-30 crowd who just go abroad with the sole intention of getting as drunk as possible, having s*x with as many people as possible and generally acting like idiots.  They give all the decent tourists a bad name.

No, they really aren't any worst then anyone else.

My husband is Hungarian and we sometimes walk to the tourist areas and people watch from  a bench.(In Hungary)

He makes fun of just about every group that comes walking in front of us (he is 60 but still a big brat)

It is mostly the large groups that have a weird looking "leader"that is carrying a flag or stuffed animal so that everyone can follow without getting lost.Everyone looks stupid when they are a tourtist in a group.

people that break out on their own don't stand out as rude or strange as much.

Believe me, we have laughed our a** off at everyone.

We will also help lost people so we aren't that bad.

I'm british and I would say there are a lot of brits who behave like a**holes on holiday - get really sunburnt, get too drunk and be rude to locals, then fight, throw up, have s*x in public etc. However, there are a lot of tourists i have seen - ie germans, french, that are also rude too. I do think that the 18-30 lot really do a lot of damage to our reputation though.

Please remember, we aren't all like that!

No Americans are, being our drinking and drug laws are very different to those in the USA. Americans binge and indulge on the freedoms we have in our countries that that they don't have. We can freely and legally  drink alcohol when were16 and in the USA it's 21 before you can legally drink.

Yes and no. We have either the classiest types in First Class etc or the chavs in Benidorm. We pretty much cover the whole spectrum.
