  1. No, a healthy relationship should be based on respect for each other and interest in ones interest.

  2. The basis of any relationship has always got to be TRUST, without that you have nothing to build on.

  3. no...it should be give & take...& 50/50 in everything..that makes for a good relationship!

  4. NO ITS NOT! A GOOD RELATIONSHIP IS TEAM WORK, IT TAKES 2 PEOPLE TO MAKE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP. IF ONE PERSON CANNOT SACRIFICE FOR THE OTHER THEN THEY ARE SELFISH!!! AND IT WONT WORK OUT FOR THE LONG RUN.

  5. Every relationship is a two way street. You both have to make compromises on a daily basis. There is no "relationship" if compromise isn't part of it, or trust and respect. You have to learn to compromise, earn trust, and show respect in all areas--24/7.

  6. No that is not right.

What you are describing is NOT a relationship, it's a power struggle.

Ed, a loving relationship is only based on one thing; honesty.

From honesty everything else grows; trust, admiration and respect, mutual concern and support and ultimately; love.

  7. Nope,it should be an equal relationship

  8. No I disagree with that.  Me who is currently in a 2 years 8 month relationship.  We have it both ways.  Having it the first persons way is just possessiveness in my opinion.  What's the point in love if one person gets what he/she wants in the relationship while the other just sits there looking like a slave.

  9. I wouldnt be with anyone who was more or less than my equal!
