A (relatively) new solution for unemployment...What are you thoughts?

I know this is GWS. But I think we can talk other topics too.

Most of the countries have the unemployment problem. Even the developed countries face this problem. Recently I heard a solution for it and here it is;

Normally people work from 8.00a.m. to 6.00p.m. And the rest of the day is for taking a rest, dine and to sleep which are essential things to do.( Actually a person who hasn't got a job won't like to do night shift)

When a people in USA work at day and go home at 6.00p.m then it is the time for people in Iran to go to work (at 8.00a.m.). When people of Iran go home at 6.00p.m (their local time) it is 8.00a.m to China.

If there are people who haven't got any job in one country(E.g.China) has to stay idle from 8.00a.m to 6.00p.m in their country. But there are plenty of work in Iran which has no more employees to do them because it is night time for them. Therefore if a relevant authorities can organize a program for people at one country ( Chinese) to work at offices in another country (Iran) ONLINE. Then most of the problems can be solved.

I see this already happening, for example with call centers and help desks staffed by workers in other countries who are working the hours the main office is open.  Your idea isn't new.

What a good idea. I think as the internet becomes more common and more people are able to use it to a very high level, there is a possibility that jobs such as this could become something ordinary people can do.

At the moment, if my boss is in another country (he travels a lot), he can access his own computer to work on files and documents from anywhere in the world.

At this stage, we are in the very early days of how computers and the internet can be used ~ I would not be at all surprised to see your plan, or something like it, in use at some time in the future.

It is just shifting the problem. Eventually there will still be alot of people getting the short end of the stick. Like many problems we humans face, I believe space exploration,expansion and colonization would solve or at least re-leave some stress.

    Being crowded with no where to go only leads to decay.

"If your not growing your dieing" kind of thing.

Excellent idea.  The only problem I see is global population exceeds work production.  I believe we are in a global economic depression.  War with Iran might be possible-see above per economic depression.  That plus security for Israel.

Unfortunately no one can agree to help one another, so diplomacy needs to be address before unemployment.  Sorry, nice thought though!

Very interesting theory. It can be done if effort is initiated. (I'm half Iranian, so I took an initial interest in this post). If you bring this up in front of some political bodies, I think it could go pretty far.
