  1. This article might help:

    ---

With the number of cell phones approaching the number people in the country this newer form of telecommunication has become a major way of communicating. They also provide a level of anonymity to people as phone numbers of cell phone numbers are quite different to home phones in that it is much harder to track cell phone calls.

  2. no, thats the point of restricted calling

  3. yea but

you have to get the police

    and phone comp. involved.

but i mean if its not serious

    then just dont worry about

it...they'll get bored in a little bit.

if its your cell turn it off

    for like 15 minutes.

  4. unfortunately theres no way to trace the number (legally) but if you are getting worried about the calls, then contact your local police station as they can trace it. hope that helps =]

  5. Hey do you have a reject list on your cell phone???  If you do, try using it.  When the number calls just put it on your reject list and when they call again it will just go straight to voice mail. Here what I did.  I put them on the reject list, then on my voice message I changed it to the standard recorded greeting with just your cell number on it.  About after a week they stopped calling.  Maybe they thought I changed my number or got bored.

    I hope this helps.

  6. I know with LAN lines, you can pay a tad extra for "anonymous call rejection."  This feature forces the caller to unblock his number if he wants his call to go through to you.  I know with LAN lines, the caller would use a code like *82 to unblock his number.

Call your mobile carrier to see if this is a feature you can add to your line.

Be aware that this feature does not work with all phone systems - so if a telemarketer calls you via networked computer lines, this feature won't apply to them.

If you are unable to get this feature on your line, you will have to weigh the pro's and con's of changing your mobile number and ensure the new number is private.
