A review of the restaurant called "Eat"?

I'm wondering if anyone has eaten here. Can you give me some average prices of the food and the quality? Any sandwich you would reccomend? Here's their website: http://www.eat.co.uk/

I'm an American travelling through Gatwick and will spend the night at a nearby hotel. I can't afford the hotel food and I plan to stock up for the night at one of the restaurants in Gatwick. This "Eat" place seems pretty healthy and hopefully reasonably priced. So, I'd really appreciate some price information and any general reviews you may have. Thank you.

  1. I have sampled the food from there, they do fresh soup and sandwiches which are of a very good quality.  They also have a range os daily special, hot and cold drinks. The prices are around £3.00 for a decent sandwich but you pay for quality of the food and it is worth it.  Enjoy!!

  2. I think that Eat is the best of the high street sandwich/soup shops.  It's cheaper than most and the food quality is great.  I don't eat bread, so can't comment on the sandwiches, but the sushi boxes are really good as is the super foods salad (I think that's what it's called), and all the soups I have tried are really nice.  And I'm really fussy!

It's all good fresh food, much better than you'll get at Starbucks or the cafeteria places at the airport.

    Have a good lunch!
