Scuze me...but I guess I failed to mention that I'm neither Dem nor Rep, neither Con nor Lib. I don't believe in the false "left-right" paradigm. I don't support Obama nor McCain. It's a false choice. I was simply making an observation of the obvious fakery.

  1. mccain getting desperate now

  2. Nope - among other things, "her son is about to deploy to Iraq. She's an ice fisherman, a moose hunter, a small business owner and a lifetime NRA member. And she shelved her state's pork-laden Bridge to Nowhere that McCain has ridiculed on the trail......and she's about as far outside the Beltway as you can get.... " Plus she's actually been leading people for the past several years, while Obama has been leading NO one!

    Peace

  3. No. She was chosen to get votes from the small town folks from middle America. Both men and women.

  4. Welcome to politics. Both sides are desperate. Either way McCain had my vote before he picked his VP and as a mother I am happy to say I am thrilled with his pick.

  5. I agree, but you left out laughable.  No woman that supported Hill will vote for this Honey pot, yes woman.  She'll set women's lib back 25 years.

  6. Abu#2, what an uneducated answer. People of all races were affected by Katrina.

  7. She hunts moose

    She fishes

TV Sports reporter, Pres of PTA, then City council for 4 years, then Mayor then for 4 years, then Lt Govenor for 4 years, now Govenor for 2 years.

She has an approval rate of over 80% the highest in the USA.

    Mother of 5

Oldest son in the US Army

Youngest son born with Downs Syndrome, they knew and still had the child.

She actually has visited the troops in Lanstuhl hospital in Germany.

Her husband is a real man who has won the snowmobiler 2000-mile "Iron Dog" race. 4 times.

    Her husband is native American

    Wow what a pick

  8. Hardly

He now has my vote.. Sarah Palin rocks...

How sexist do the Democrats look now!

  9. I'm still voting for Obama. I'm a woman and a feminist, and I don't vote for candidates on the basis of gender.

  10. You mean like Obama choosing a white VP? A ridiculous stunt to get the "white man's" vote. Now THAT's desperation!

  11. Good choice. She is a strong woman and will get a lot of female votes.

  12. I know Janet. The zionists did it to you again.

  13. It shows that McCain and the right thinks women are stupid enough to make that the only issue they are voting on.

  14. As opposed to Obama's "hey, at least my VP has some experience" tactic?

  15. A ridiculous stunt to get the "black" vote left over from Katrina. How abjectly desperate?

  16. She has more excutive experience then Obama.  Obama chose a good old boy to try and get white blue collar workers.

  17. I know how you feel... I was actually hoping he would pick Hilary.  I was somewhat for McCain but was wary of the anti-abortion law.  Now that I see she is very strong anti-abortion, guess I will do in a write-in for Mickey Mouse this election.  Anyone else think it's a coincidence that she is from Alaska and her husband is in the oil business???

  18. Whatever.  He has got MY vote.

  19. Worried? You should be. Obama was a fool to not give VP to that old hag.

  20. That "stunt" cements my vote. I was thinking about sitting the election out since I wasn't thrilled with either candidate. Palin is impressive.

  21. You are sexist

  22. I agree.....this is a big risk...I didn't think McCain needed to take such a drastic measure...but I guess he just finished reading the Audacity of Hope ...and is seeing what having hope brings him....lol....Seriously it just seems to me like republicans think the general American public are stupid. Maybe we are....We'll see this election.

  23. Agreed.  It's a pretty transparent attempt.

But not a bad strategy...because I'm sure that there are many feminists out there who will vote for the McCain/Palin ticket just to get a woman in office despite their political beliefs.

  24. i think what you think. :)

  25. Such a shallow viewpoint you have there.  There's a lot more to her than being a woman. She's much more of a true conservative and she's very pro oil drilling.  She's a much better choice for VP than any of the other possibility's on McCain's list.  She also seems much more willing to remain open to other viewpoints than typical politicians.  Even though she opposes something, she still feels that in the end it's the opinion of the people that matter moreso than her own personal views.
