Do you mean rood? That is another word for crucifix. In churches there is a screen called the rood screen, separating the chancel from the main body of the church and usually having an elaborate crucifix on it.

Here is a rude of service if you want one, I was trying to get phone cards for my cell phone service, and i was trying to get someone to help me, i was in a hurry, when some Gal pushed me aside as i was talking to the salesman, and she demanded his time in a love connection, I barked, and Said Excuse me, b ut i need assistance fastg on my cell phone, like in 5 minutes, and the Gal looked at me and yelled Hey wait your lady, cause  HES MINE, You know i did not want him romatically i wanted him to fix my phone, And that was rude
