Three hundred and sixty five days a year, and everyone has one day they like the best. One that stands out from the others, that they cherish more than all the rest.
All the kid's favorite is Christmas, Santa put gifts under their Christmas tree, but unless I find you in my stocking..it just wouldn't mean much to me.
Some would say theirs is Thanksgiving, they say grace then have turkey delight, but somehow I just can't be thankful..with this hurt in my heart every night.
Others may cherish their birthday, where cake and ice cream is the main dish, but unless we would soon be together again...I would be wasting my one birthday wish.
So no, none of those days are my favorite, I think of the ones that we shared now and then..but no my favorite day would be someday, the someday you'd be mine again.
