A school supply list includes a ream of paper.

Question

My son's school supply list says that he needs 1 ream of 1/2" red and blue lined paper. Am I correct in thinking that it's the regular notebook paper? He's entering the second grade. Does a ream mean that I am going to have to buy several packs of paper?

LOL! I'm sorry i just think schools these days are cheap. What does a second grader need with all that paper. I hope the school your son attends is teaching him.
