As Ken points out, the science of global climate is very complex, and involves many different fields of study.

I will add a few:

Physics-

1) Solar physicist (Sun's role in climate, both past and present).

2) Astrophysicist (The galaxy's role in climate, e.g. cosmic rays)

3) Geophysicist

-Atmospheric Chemist

-Geologists

The study of the global climate involves many different fields.  A general term would be Climatologist or Climate Scientists.  But other scientists involved include:

Atmospheric Physicists

Oceanographers

Astronomers (measure solar variations)

Biologists (study impacts on various species)

Glaciologist

Computer modelers (model climate changes with computers)

Mathematicians

Statisticians

Paleoclimatologists (study climate history)
