A security 2008 anti spy version keeps popping up on my computer and i cant get it off, I need to download ?

It's malware, the pop-ups are a ploy to get you to download and buy their software or to hack/infect your computer.

Restore your pc to an earlier time...start, all programs, accessories, system tools, system restore...choose a date on the calender before you started getting the pop-ups...wait for pc to automatically restart...it will be like it never happened.

Don't buy or download anything from unknown popups, they might get a commission if you buy or they might just want to steal your credit card information.

You can try to restore to a previous day, but after make sure that you scan your computer with multiple sources to make sure you are virus free.  We have a list of great online scans located here:  http://pcultracare.com/free_online_virus...

If it is a decent infection, even a system restore to a previous date will not remove all infections.  And even with just one infection, an open door is left to let other infections come back in.

If you do manage to remove infections make sure to also have a good antivirus program like NOD32 or Panda Antivirus.  Good Luck.
