A shingle fell on my hot tub cover, and I would imagine it's tar that has stained it. How do I clean it off?

You can get tar and bug remover for cars at an auto parts store (sometimes at grocery stores too, or wherever they sell car wax). It's formulated to get rid of tarry substances and not harm paint. So, it shouldn't harm the vinyl cover. You might test it on an inconspicuous area first, though.

Plain ol' wax that you wax your car with.It will rub right off.
