  4. If they respresented the issues and concerns I support, I could care less about their personal life.

Actually, thinking back, I've voted for candiadtes with all those qualifications, and never once regretted it.

    Cheers :-)

  5. I'd support everything but muslim, mormon or catholic.

  6. All of these would be fine, except I would be hesitant about a christian, catholic or mormon.

  7. I would not support anyone who is extreme in their religion.  I also do not support the infliction of one's own morals on an entire society.  Thus I'm pro choice, pro g*y marriage, etc.  I couldn't, given the events of the recent past, support a Muslim candidate.  Yes to all others assuming none are extreme in their religious views.

  8. yes to all depending on their opinions and campaign promises.

  9. I don't care about any of that if they meet my political requirements.  I'd rather have a Christian than an atheist, or any religion over atheists for that matter, but as long as they're not trying to push their beliefs on everyone (any candidate really) I don't care that much.

  10. I wouldn't care about any of those things.

  14. I would not vote for a Muslim.  I don't approve of the way that religion treats women.  At all!

  15. Why didn't you include a L*****n, g*y, Bisexual, Transexual or Questioning candidate?

Are you an evil oppressive patriarchy?

  16. I would support anyone who had the people in mind first and foremost. I wouldn't care what they looked like or what religion they followed (if they followed one) what gender, race, sexual orientation blah blah blah; as long as they were ethical and their first priority was the people nothing else would bother me.

  17. does it really matter what s*x, race, or religion they follow???

if they are a good person and i feel like they will do a good job then they get my vote.

  18. If they have the same, or a majority of my beliefs I would vote for them. Gender and race don't matter.

  19. A woman - YES

    Black - YES

    Jewish - NO

    An Atheist - Absolutely NOT

    Muslim - NO

    Mormon - NO

    Catholic - Yes

  20. I would support,

    Yes

    No

  22. I would vote for any of them.

    As long as they qualified.

    Religion doesn't matter.

I think more people should be open minded.

  23. no atheists

  24. a woman?

I might consider not supporting them because, at this time, we are dealing with the Middle East in a lot of countries where women's rights are utterly laughed at. Our president, as a national figurehead, must generate some respect. However, were it not for that, I would definitely support them, especially as they are a woman.

    black?

As long as they had a good running mate... they would be such a target for assassination, I would have to love the vice president as well.

    jewish, atheist, Muslim, Mormon, Catholic?

I firmly believe in separation of the church and state. As long as they didn't allow their religion to dictate their politics, it would be fine by me.

  25. a woman? [yes/no]-No

    black? [yes/no]-No

    Jewish? [yes/no]-No

    an atheist? [yes/no]-No

    Muslim? [yes/no]-No

    Mormon? [yes/no]-No

    Catholic? [yes/no]-No

For me it depends on what they support, not their gender, race, or religion.

  26. Woman - no

    Black - no

    Jewish - yes

    Atheist - no

    Muslim - yes

    Mormon - yes

    Catholic - yes

Religion has no place in politics. If they showed fundamentalist leanings, no way would I support that. If they were moderate and kept their religion separate then that's ok I guess.
