A short vs a taller boxer,who will have higher chance of winning?

Well I see it this way. The short fighter probally has a little more speed and probally has a better chance of getting inside. However the tall fighter probally has a better reach probally cutting off the smaller one to get inside. There are many variables that could cause either to win.

generally the taller one has a longer reach and will be able to hold the shorter one off and get a win.

If both fighters are the same weight, i believe that the taller boxer has an advantage especially if he fights smart and uses his reach advantage. But if it goes to a brawl then the shorter boxer has the advantage because of there agility and short strong punches. That makes the tall boxer more likely to get KO'd. But just to give an answer disregarding all that i said, i go for the shorter boxer because short people have more to prove.

It depends on the individuals you speak of. I think the taller boxer has alot more advantages but if the shorter boxer is a swarmer style with good inside fighting skills, the tall guy is going down. Also toughness and conditioning are big factors.

If we are talking about just height then I bet the short one will win cause since they don't have height they compensate in other areas like speed and agility. You can only go so far having a long reach.

It depends on the skill level of each man. It has been said many times that a great tall fighter should overcome a great short fighter. For the most part, I do believe that, especially if the taller man fights smart, uses his height and reach to his advantage and fight tall. There are many tall fighters who don't fight using their height and reach advantage.
