A small ball underneath the left side of my jaw?

Question

It's been hurting for weeks but i ignored it thinking maybe it was nothing but now i'm starting to worry. I tried to feel around it and felt a small sort of ball underneath that hurt like h**l.

anybody know what it is?

my skin looks normal.. no bruises or anything.

I think I have the same prob...does it feel hard? Like maybe the feeling of having a beebee under your skin? Mine is on the right side aswell I've asked 3 diff Dr. About it and I keep getting told it's infected glands or inflamed glands but I have one on the back of my neck right at my hair line and one on my right rib cage so I will be asking another Dr. Yet again. They do get rather painful but if you apply a heating pad it helps soothe the pain and anti-inflamitories help...the best is ibuprophen and the advil liquid gels because they act fast.
