  1. depends on the morals. what is normal?

  2. Morality is fluid.

Even though there were slaves in the bible, they won't let me have any.

  3. In theory, I would agree with you...But decay and advancement might easily be confused.

Things that we consider normal, at this point, were considered immoral, just a short time ago.  For example, 100 years ago, it would have been considered immoral for a woman to wear pants...50 years ago, it was considered immoral for a black man and a white woman to be married.

At what point do we decide what is decay, as compared to what is advancement?

  4. Well if that society accepts immoral decisions as the norms, then technically they wouldn't consider those decisions immoral at all.  A society cannot destroy itself from within because of immoral decisions if they dont believe the decisions they are making are immoral.

  5. omg, I can't believe the answers you got, jack. Sounds like morals are a thing of the past, like respect, loyalty and especially honesty. That's why our society Will self annihilate from within. I just saw the movie Time Change that deals with all the things that have changed in the last 100yrs and I felt a great sadness & shame too. See it but you already know that our society is blatantly closing their eyes to God, morals and virtue.
