  1. If coloured brightly it would reflect the heat away, were black just soaks it up.

  5. the top of the heating panel is covered in black paint as the black paint attracts the sun to the heating panels!!

    this is beause black attracts heat/sun..

  6. Black absorbs and radiates heat and light the best as it doesn't reflect any colours and technically we only see it because its a void that our eyes can't see well unless shiny coated. Strange how radiators are White?

    A shiny surface would reflect a lot of the heat away.
