  1. I would personally recommend a beta fish or some cool looking gold fish!

Another cool and easy to care for pet would be a parakeet.

Give them fresh water once a day(like when you first wake up). Get a few cool toys for him or her and some food.

I have 5 parakeets and I change there cage once a week.

Pull the tray out on the bottom of the cage and replace with fresh newspaper or cedar chips.

  2. Chihuahs or Yorkies they dont need to get out as much and dont eat as much

  3. A single pigeon you raise from a very young baby makes an awesome easy to care for pet.  It will love you and have a deep bond like no other animal.

  4. you are better off getting a animal witch suits you

all my pets what i have got are realy easy to keep

    i have 2 labradors

    1 yorkshire terrier

    2 cats

    12 ferrets

    2 turtles

and out of them all the turtles are the easyiest

  5. FISH defintely!

  6. if you have a super small fishtank (a little bowl) with one or low maintenance fish, then you'll barely have to do any work at all!

  7. If you have a fenced in yard and you get a dog that is house trained and at least 4 years old so it has less energy it really doesnt take any work other than feeding them.

  8. fish

but please if you do get one of some

please put it in a nice big bowl or tank, i hate seeing fish in lil bottles or bowls, its sickening and depressing.

  9. Rats. They don't make mess, they don't make noise but you just have to clean out their cage (which takes less than five minutes). They make great pets.

But if you are not commited to caring for an animal get a stuffed toy.

  10. We live in the country, and we have a variety of animals (dogs, cats, chickens, a turtle, a fish, and hermit crabs).  While they are all a lot of work, I think that the easiest are the hermit crabs.

My son wanted one, and now we have 9...they are happier in a community.  I never imagined how interesting they are.

Do your research ahead of time...you will need an aquarium, food dish, two water dishes, conditioner for their water (to dechlorinate their fresh water, and to add salt to their salt water), sponges to put in the water dish, climbing apparatus, hiding apparatus, extra shells...There are start up kits that are pretty inexpensive and come with the necessities, and you can add things as you go.

Other than that, consider adopting an older pet from the SPCA-they do not need as much attention as puppies do, and you will most likely be saving their lives.  The SPCA will let you go adn visit with the animals and help you in making the decision that is best for you.  I am mostly referring to dogs and cats, but they often have other animals as well.

We love our turtle, but he is messy and his tank has to be cleaned a lot which is a big hassle.

We had an aquarium full of fish at ne time, and quickly learned that we are not fish people (other than the ones in our pond-they are wild).  My son has a beta fish now, and it is easier to care for than the dogs and cats and turtle.

I hope this helps, and hope you find the perfect pet!  Good for you for doing your research and not getting yourself in over your head-that is how they end up at the SPCA.

  11. small dogs, adult cats, rodents and some lizards or snakes. Any animal that involves water in it's tank will be a stinky mess and cleaning it will be hard. Small dogs can be litter box trained and if you get the right breed it won't be hard to train. Adult cats tend to be easy to handle as they are already litter box trained (cleaning the litter box isn't that bad) and can fend for themselves for the most part(if you leave enough food you can leave you cat alone for the weekend and it will be fine ... lonely ... but fine). Rodents are fun but I think they require more work feeding than dogs or cats because you can get these dishes for dogs or cats that you fill up and they can feed themselves when they want for over a week but again the wrong breed or a runt will over eat and get fat (I find chihuahua/rat terrier mutts are really good but make sure when you get it that it stays still when you pick it up, if it doesn't it will be a very hyper dog, if it stays calm it will be very respectful). Lizards and snakes take some minimal cleaning and the right kind you only have to feed a couple times a week. good luck :)

  12. not birds they p**p a lot and are very messy i recommend maybe fish or a rabbit or even a cat

  13. birds

  14. a betta fish all you need is:

2 gallon tank(with filter unless u get other fish you don't need a air pump)

    the betta fish

    betta food

    a net

    water conditioner

    that is it

it is only about $30.00 for everything unless you get decor

  15. maybe goldfish. you only have to feed them twice a day and clean their tank once a week.

basically, all pets require lots of care and you shouldn't get one unless you can make the committment

  16. Birds, some can be mess-makers but they are interesting and don't require much attention/work. Fish, but they are quite boring. If you want more of a friend then a cat would be good. If you have a backyard, possibly guinea pigs or a rabbit. There's also mice and rats but the sometimes smell!

  17. lizards are really interesting and dont take up a lot of space or time, and are quite easy to look after if you have the right gear, hermit crabs are pretty cool and easy make sure you have a couple though, stick insects are a easy pet, then the usual birds, fish, guinea pigs, mice rats

  18. cats

    chickens

no way are fish easy to care for properly

1 goldfish needs 20-50 galons depending on speices

and bettas need a constant heater temperature

all tanks need daily and weekly maintenance

i am not saying don't get fish ii am just saying they are harder to keep than you think

    i have an axolotl

    2 goldfish

    1 zebra danio fish

    3 gold zebra danio fish

    1 corydora catfish

    1 apple snai

    1 Chinese algae eater

    5 chickens

    and two cats

also bowls are torture for fish and the bigger the tank the easyer it is too keep

all fish should have a filter and bettas need heaters

  19. fish?
