A song, girly from the mid 2000's??

Kay, phew this is hard to explain

This song it got a lot of air time a few years ago in australia (probaly overseas as well not sure?)Anyway its quite girly to get an idea when i think of it all i can think of is "summer rain" the song.

I was quite young so have forgotten a lot but it was like about a girl and a guy and him being like a soldier or something sorry very vague.

i've been searching everywhere for it <3

im not sure on the title bit i think that its by the dixie chicks-- soildier i think maybe-- wait sorry read all the details i dont think this is right sorry
