A sort of Woody Allen moment in a way, I dunno is it?

Question

...you tell me, I dunno!

You cannot be serious

Here I am breathing

and I don’t know why

scary thought that if I stop

I could actu-ally die

so what is this

great dramatic fuss

that frightens the skin

off of practically all of us?

Yeah, ok I’m breathing

but what are YOU

doing about the air?

filling it with smog and smoke

do you actu-ally care?

Is the grand plan this

on even birthdays inhale

on odd ones you breathe out?

was this decided by a committee?

i have no considerable doubt

man! What is YOUR prob...lem?

can’t you see

through the haze?

oK I give up

just keep breathing

you’ll realise the answer

one of these days

and don't say I didn't warn ya! sheesh!

Hey, I’m not a believer in automatically marking any effort shown here with a “Great work”, in fact I tend to the opposite. But this has got spunk, wit and technical skill, and I really like it. Love to see more. But gotta mention that in  your profile you say you “Willing to travel as far as Mars for Poetic Fellowship”. Mars is the God of War. What U saying, gal? Did I read you right?

I love Woody Allen's work (don't much like him as a human being though).......I think your poem brings him out in a way that everyone can relate to him...in one way of the other.  : )
