The web is thick, and the spider hides in the back and comes out when there is something to attack. The spider has two fangs that are a few cm long. It's a pretty big spider and has a large body that is brown.

  1. OMG how could you sleep in the same room as a spider THAT big, i'm scared of a moth!

It sounds like a dangerous spider, kill it!

  2. That would scare me. It depends on where you live, but that sounds like a dangerous spider. Kill it, or if you're not confident in your ability to kill it without getting hurt in the process (for example getting bitten) call an exterminator and ask for advice. If worse comes to worse, hire the exterminator! I wouldn't want that thing in my house!

    "FUNNEL WEB SPIDERS (Agelenidae)

    Funnel Web Spider

Though they may occasionally wander into structures, funnel web spiders are typically found around the foundation of homes and in grasses and bushes. They remain hidden deep inside funnel-shaped webs that are quite noticeable on dewy mornings. Unlike many other web-building spiders, funnel web spiders are fast runners. When an insect or another spider happens by, the funnel web spider rushes out to subdue its prey.

The group includes medium-sized species such as the grass spiders (Agelenopsis spp.), usually found outdoors, and house spiders (Tegenaria spp.) which often occur indoors. Grass spiders are often brown with dark stripes on their backs. "
