A strange dream reaccuring dream?

Question

well I've been having this reaccuuring dream alot the last few years, (about 25 or so times). I'll sum it up. Theres a faceless guy who I hang with and then he keeps saving me. then we go to this house thing and set up this weird tent thing. Then we go out to the garden and its always just light enough thats its beautiful then of corse, I wake up.

Until now my "savior" has always been facless, but i met this guy about a week ago, and every night he becomes him (last night was the 4th night in a row with this same dream). I really do like him (long story, but we spent about 12 hrs together and really got to know eachother (major flirting)).

This dream it's just weird having him in it, but its not a bad thing, becuase I do have feelings for him.

I like ths dream, but I just want to know if you have any idea why this might still be reaccuring and why its his face?

Oh and please don't give me a link or a long page on something tht doesnt make sense. I really want your view.

I use to have a dream sort of like that ( with a savior type of guy).  Like he's save me from something  and he kind of felt like my lover  This might be a little out of your belief but perhaps, something from a past life?

I think there's a very simple explanation to this dream. The faceless guy and what you do with him is a construct of your desire to have a true and lasting relationship. He "saves" you from a life without someone to love and share with. Your mind has made him faceless because you do not know when or how or most importantly with whom you will have this relationship.

Now, you have met someone that you really do like so your mind is applying his face to the dream because in this first blush of romance, you think perhaps he is the one who you have hoped to find. And I hope for you that you're right!

A few possibilities that I see.  It could be that you are waiting for the right person to come into your life and he "had no face" because you didn't know who he was.  Now you have a face to put in the dream.  That doesn't mean that this guy is IT though, you might substitute anyone's face that catches your interest.

This could also be about your animus.  The animus is the masculine side of a woman (we all have one).  Sometimes we will see a "dream guy" in our dreams, dream of marriage, etc. when we are reaching a balanced state between our masculine and feminine sides.

You are waiting for your knight in shining armor to rescue you.  You are putting the face of the guy on it because you want it to be him .  

You will know you have achieved your goal when the face is your own face and not some man

your own subconscious is telling you to get off your but and save yourself.

maybe the guy you met is the guy saving you from something subconcious or w/e forgive my spelling

maybe he is faceless because his looks have little meaning to you(even if he is cute or hot) you like him for him and thats all that matters.

I had a dream like that, only it involved a guy who looked like me and got hurt in a VW rollover. After five years of recurring, the dream turned real. There was a guy like me who got hurt in a VW rollover. After I saw the event, the dream never came again.
