A strange egg-like object, thats soft, cream in colour, with a dark yellow center?

My neighbour found the above described object.. it looks like the insides of an egg, but has kept its shape, is squidgy, and looking through the nature books could be some kind of larva, but we're not sure... anyone got any ideas???? eg.. should we keep it and see if it develops??

sounds like it might be a spiders egg, give it a while and you'll have a couple of hundred spiders runnin around

it is prob an egg in early stages like a bird egg that fell from tree/

Did it have a foil wrapper?

Could be a Cadburys cream egg

sometimes eggs are formed without the hard shell. Could be that is what you have found. Not sure about the size, could be just a birds egg without the hard shell.

Hmmm...mabye it's a candy egg OUTSIDE the wrapper (I'm a genius!!!)

just some kind of mushroom or toadstool I see them all the time on the farm
