well my school gymnastics team just started and for floor we use wrestling mats because we dont have enough money for an actual floor.

So anywho i was doing front tucks on the mats and i noticed afterwards my foot began to increasingly hurt. i went to the trainer and he says hes pretty sure its a stress fracture.

The team just started and i gotta make these practices if i wanna compete. should i stay off my foot though? I mean the pain is bareable to an extent. I wrap it with prewrap and tape while training but should i still train?

  2. yea, we had to tumble on the wrestling floor. it hurts, and  its not as springy, so i say stay off it for like a 3 days to a week.  or eles it just ganna get worse. and alternate with ice and heat. =D

  3. I have a similar problem. Make sure you ice before and after practice. Warm up and stretch really well, and when the pain REALLY hurts, streach it out and just do basics for awhile.
