  1. Tell him nicely that that's not possible. An obtuse angle measures between 90 and 180 degrees, and if there are two obtuse angles, then that would be at least 180 degrees, which is the total of all THREE angles of the triangle, and he still hasn't put in the third angle.


  2. You can't have a triangle with two obtuse angles.

    A triangle's angle measurements add up to 180 exactly. Obtuse angles are angles which are >90 degrees. Therefore, it is impossible to have more than one obtuse angle in a triangle.
