can't wait

till next sunday morn

to read the funny papers__

so full of sarcasim

so full of scorn

can't wait to see

who will be elected

upon the next

sunday morn.

Sunday Poem ( my version )

People do many things on Sunday

Often enough people would go to church

It is a day of rest

but here is one person who disagrees

its like any day of the week.

it would be a day for people to read

the comics

like your poem says

There is no sadness in this poem, it's all anticipation and excitement. Yes you're anticipating the comics having scorn in them, but that's humor so it can't really be counted as hate or dislike. Nice poem, I loved it except i have to say it's 1 AM monday morning, not sunday, unless you're somewhere else in the world which you probably are.

85% of poetry I read in this poetry link is full of sadness, angst, bitterness, sarcasm and self loathing! My life isn't full of glit and glam, but I make the most of it. Good feelings are started by good inner thought and spread outward! Try it sometime...
