A tax warrant/levy was placed against me, it's paid. Will it show up on my credit report?

Evidently, since 2005 I have owed NY State $50 in tax per year. A debt which I was NEVER made aware of because they were sending the notices/bills to my physical address. The problem with that is that USPS doesn't deliver mail in that town, so basically the correspondence never got to me. I asked them, "If I never received them, didn't you get them back?" They said, "We received an undeliverable mail notice but we continued to send it to the address we had on file." It was for $196 after fees, which I paid immediately after finding out this morning.

I'm just worried that it's going to show up on my credit report. The woman on the phone said it was already sent to a credit agency and should show up because it's a tax warrant. Although I've read elsewhere on the Internet that,

"Liens or levys are in my past experience not reported with a credit agency, when they levy an account or a home, it will show up when you want to refi your home, or sell." Thank you so very much in advance!
