I am asking this question for my brother here are details

One of my brothers teachers died in the classroom during the lessons with some stroke and other complications most of the students had to go to the school psychiatrist, and other therapies many still have flashbacks, but as for my brother he didn't even blink or have flashback he just got up and dialed 911 that is all while most of the other panicked, to me it seems he has no emotion and or a cold heart, when our grandpa died he didnt even blink but said a few words and walked away, The main thing I want to know is he normal?why does that happen? is it like he has nerves of steel? As far as I can say he could kill a person and not even blink or express anything. Can someone explain this?

  1. I'm kind of like your brother.  Stuff like that doesn't bother me right away, especially if someone needs to keep their cool.

Later it will sink in more and I might feel sad or a little shocked, but I don't usually feel too bad for the person who died, because we're all going to go - I feel sad more for the people who will miss him/her or looks like they're taking it really hard.

I don't know why people are so shocked by death, it's going to come no matter what you do.

  2. it is probably nothing, and he may just have nerves of steel.  the inability to show emotion or care about anyone else however is a concerning problem and could be signs of a sociopath or having antisocial personality disorder.  for this you should ask yourself these questions:  does he have many friends?  does he seem to hate everyone?  is he prone to severe violence and rage? does he have drug problems or seem to have no concern about health?

  3. He might just have trouble mourning or can hold himself together an break down later.

  4. Your lucky he does this. If you were dying somewhere would you rather have a bunch of freaked out people standing over you or someone to call for help?

  5. Your brother has what's known as balls, aka Cahoonas.

  6. Your brother is probably someone who focuses on solving problems and has the ability to separate his emotions from the situation at hand.  He would make a good emergency room doctor, police officer or fireman with these qualities.  He may be suppressing his emotions (turning them inward rather than expressing them externally) and that is not always healthy--it can lead to a whole host of health issues.

How do you know they "got nothing out of him" he may have completely unloaded on one of them in a safe environment.

Of course, who knows, maybe your brother is in serious need of help.  Good luck!

  7. Your brother would not have dialled 911 if he could kill a person.  Is that the treatment he gets for being a hero?  And about only saying a few words when your grandpa died, maybe he had said everything to your grandpa while your grandpa was still alive.  What could he say?

I think your brother does not have a cold heart.  I don't know how old he is, but he may not even understand death.  But then, I don't think anybody does.
